luis ella stands for a distinctive connection of design, photography, and feminine silhouette.

Each piece begins with its own photographic motif - captured in landscapes, in nature, or in cities or fleeting moments - and becomes a garment that stands out without being loud. Art becomes wearable. Personality becomes visible.

My design signature is shaped by working with icons like Otl Aicher and Massimo Vignelli: clarity, precision, and a focus on the essentials. This combination of intellectual design ambition and sensual imagery makes luis ella unique.

The cuts are feminine, thoughtful, and comfortable - made for women who want to show themselves.

At the same time, each piece is created under fair and responsible conditions. Because true beauty requires care.

A luis ella piece is a statement with ease and poetry.

About me

I am Luisella Ströbele, a designer with international experience in Berlin, London, New York, and Amsterdam.

Trained at the UdK Berlin and the Royal College of Art London, I have worked in leading design studios and agencies - including Total Design and Factor Design - and developed a clear visual language: reduced, precise, and at the same time emotional.

My works have been selected by the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA), New York for the exhibition "Destination Berlin".

From 2009 to 2024, I co-led the label icke,BERLIN with Barbara Kristen.

Today, I focus with luis ella on what is closest to me: editions that connect art, photography, and fashion - and provide women with garments they truly want to wear.

Characteristic are my exclusive photographic motifs: landscapes, nature, urban structures, and abstract compositions. Each piece is unique in its effect - and remains memorable.

I hope that your luis ella piece enchants you, highlights your personality, and brings moments of wonder into your day. Thank you for sharing my world.

Yours, Luisella
